Richard Freund

Richard, a graduate of The University of Florida, with a degree in Construction Management and a Class A Certified Contractor formed Brooks and Freund, LLC  in August of 2000.  He brings a plethora of knowledge from his more than 30 years of Construction Management experience to guide his team.  Richard is a hands on leader.  Involved in every aspect from the field to the office, he is a firm believer in aggressively pursuing the goals of every client. He attributes Brooks and Freund’s success to the hard work and dedication of his team. Richard’s no nonsense attitude and impeccable attention to detail enables Brooks and Freund to deliver exceptional service from conceptualization to construction for each and every client.

Damon Grant

Damon graduated from Barry University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration and Master’s Degree in Administration. Previously, Damon was the Director of Construction & Design for Lee County and the Public Works Director for the Town of Fort Myers Beach. During this time, he was instrumental in several successful municipal construction and renovations projects, including: the Boston Red Sox Baseball Stadium—JetBlue, the Minnesota Twins baseball stadium renovations—CenturyLink Sports Complex, the Evans Avenue Lee Tran Operations Center, the Downtown Fort Myers Regional Library, and the North Fort Myers Parks and Recreation Center. Damon is a licensed building contractor in the state of Florida and LEED Green Associate with over fifteen years of local construction management experience.


Jesse Olsovsky

Jesse Olsovsky is a graduate of Alfred State College in New York, with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Construction Management and an Associates Degree in Architectural Engineering.  Jesse began his professional career as a Project Manager building senior assisted living facilities, with projects now ranging from multifamily housing, renovations, commercial strip centers and office buildings, all the way to public museums.  Jesse is a licensed Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida and an Unlimited General Contractor for the State of South Carolina.


Jack Jamme

Jack Jamme has over 30 years of experience in all phases of construction and construction management.  He offers vital knowledge in many areas, including project budgeting, project accounting, design-build, and conceptual estimating.  Jack received his degree in building construction from The University of Florida.  After graduation , Jack served as an estimator/project manager for a S.A.C. Construction in Miami.  In 1997, he formed Turn Key Construction Inc., where he served as President.  Today, one can find examples of Jack’s shell construction throughout Miami, including the American Airlines Arena.  Jack joined Brooks and Freund in August 2005 and is tasked with many of our most demanding projects.


Jim Grubb

Jim has been a member of the Brooks & Freund team from day one, but Jim’s working relationship with Richard and Jack dates back to their days in Miami.  For years Jim served as B&F’s General Superintendent, overseeing all field personnel, but as the company has adjusted with the changing times, Jim has returned to the Project Manager role.

Greg Coleman

Greg Coleman is a  licensed Certified General Contractor with over 40 years in the construction industry. His vast experience includes multiple areas of construction from custom residential homes, multifamily housing, condominiums, commercial and industrial projects. Greg’s strengths are taking a project from the early stages of planning, completely through the permitting stages to Certificate of Occupancy. He has the ability to bring projects under budget and on schedule.

Kevin McKyton

Kevin McKyton is a graduate of The University of Florida, with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Construction Management and a graduate of FGCU with an MBA.  Kevin began his professional career as a Project Manager for commercial buildouts, multi-family housing, and senior assisted living facilities, while later working as a Project Manager and Owner’s Rep for large master planned community developers throughout Florida. Kevin is a licensed Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida.


David Lawless

David Lawless is a graduate of The University of Florida’s Rinker School of Building Construction. He has 10 years experience in the commercial construction industry of Southwest Florida and is a licensed Certified General Contractor. Along with David’s experience, his attention to detail and motivation make him a valuable asset to the Brooks & Freund team.


Rebekka Lopez

Rebekka Lopez, best known as Bekky, has lived in Fort Myers since the age of 10 and  has watched her city grow into what Fort Myers is today. After working in the medical field for some time, she realized that she did not see a career for herself in that industry and knew she needed a change. With her love of organizing and assisting, she joined the Brooks and Freund team as Receptionist. After assisting our Lead Estimator with a few projects, she was promoted to Estimating Administrator and thoroughly enjoys this role. She hopes to continue learning and growing with Brooks and Freund for years to come.



Rose McCurry

Growing up with a father who is a general contractor, the construction world has always been of interest to Rose. She is a graduate of Florida Southwestern with an Associate’s Degree concentrating in Construction Technology. She started with Brooks & Freund as a Contract Administrator and has since moved on to wear many hats, including but not limited to; project administration, business development, and daily office operations.


Lisa Sullivan

Lisa has over 20 years professional experience working in the architectural/construction industry. Lisa brings to the Brooks & Freund team an extensive background and understanding from a designer’s perspective. As a Project Administrator, Lisa has a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, as well as excellent communications and people skills. Lisa’s role on each project is to act as the primary communications facilitator between project managers, field personnel, subcontractors, and various other team members. Proficient in Expedition 14, Contract Manager, Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010, Adobe Acrobat X Pro, and AIA Contract Documents Software.


Brittney Stahl

Brittney Stahl is a Project Administrator at Brooks and Freund. She was raised in the Fort Myers area and graduated from our local College, Florida Gulf Coast University, with a Bachelor’s degree.  Though Brittney has limited construction experience, she is enthusiastic about being a member of our team! She has been a dedicated worker since the age of 15 when she started her first job at Publix and still works there. Through her work experience she has learned great values on how individual efforts make a great organization. Brittney is spoiled with the warmth of sunshine and enjoys going for a ride in her convertible.


Yvette Farmer

Yvette joined the Brooks and Freund team after working for a residential home builder. Her background gave her knowledge in land development, surety bonds, preparing land feasibilities for future projects, processing contracts, submittals, RFI’s, billing, and close-out documentation.  Yvette’s experience in the construction industry made joining the Brooks and Freund team a natural transition.


Michelle Wise

Michelle has headed the Accounting Department at Brooks & Freund since the company’s inception. But her duties extend far beyond accounting – human resources, payroll, contracts, change orders, and job cost tracking are all handled directly by Michelle. Her dedication, efficiency, and experience make her an invaluable member of the Brooks & Freund team and a constant presence in the company’s day-to day operations. She earned a Masters Degree in Accounting from The University of South Florida and an Executive MBA from The Florida Gulf Coast University.

Jennifer Brady

Jennifer, a Lake Placid, New York native, followed the sunshine to Southwest Florida and Brooks & Freund in 2004. Just in time for hurricane Charlie.  Hired as an accounting clerk, she was promoted to Contract Administrator in 2005. Jennifer left the company in 2008 to start a family and was thrilled to return when the position of Contract Administrator again became available in April, 2016.  She holds an Associates of Science in Business Administration from Medaille College in Amherst, NY and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeast University in Davie, Florida.

Rebecca Moldenhauer

Rebecca Moldenhauer, a Fort Myers Native, spent most of her career in team training and management.  Excited for a change of pace, and her experience her family’s HVAC business, Brooks & Freund was a natural transition.  Rebecca’s responsibilities includes certified payroll, section 3 execution and all insurance related collection and organization.

Shannon Gonzalez

Shannon was originally hired as a receptionist for Brooks and Freund but has since moved to accounting.  She has over 5 years of experience working with accounts payable, receivable, and book keeping. Shannon lived in the Fort Myers area for 10 years before leaving to attend graduate school in Gainesville, Florida. In December of 2015 she returned to South West Florida to continue her professional career. Shannon’s focus, drive and attention to detail make her a great asset to the accounting team and  she hopes to continue to grow with Brooks and Freund.  She holds a Master’s degree in Oriental  Medicine, a Bachelors of Health Science, and an Associates of Science in Criminal Justice.


Patricia Jones

Patricia Jones has been employed as the receptionist at Brooks and Freund since May 2003. She came to the company as a temp and was hired fulltime in September of 2003. She originally came to Fort Myers as a snow bird from Willingboro, New Jersey, but decided to finally make this her fulltime residence. She was employed by the Marine Corp as an inventory Manager for the H-53 and Presidential Helicopters.  Pat is still involved with the military through her work as Past National President of a veterans group, FortyandEight, helping children of POW/MIA obtain scholarship funds through Pennies for POW/MIA programs.  Also, she is involved with the Nurses training scholarship program with Nickels for Nurses. Pat is a people person and enjoys her daily contact with her many customers.

Alana Miller

Alana moved to Fort Myers in 2011 from Rockland County, NY and has not looked back since. She has grown so much in these last 5 years, personally and professionally, and hopes to continue to grow with Brooks and Freund.  Alana worked in the automotive industry since the age of 18 and is enjoying the construction world; it is a breath of fresh air.  Alana has over 10 years of experience in leadership, customer service and business development, with an Associate’s Degree from SUNY Rockland in Early Childhood Education. Alana has joined the team as the Receptionist.
