As leaders in the construction industry, they are constantly monitoring the local market conditions.
Jack Jamme
Chief Operating Officer
Jack Jamme brings more than 25 years of construction management experience to his position at Brooks & Freund. Experienced in all phases of construction and construction management, he offers vital knowledge in many areas, including project budgeting, project accounting, design-build and construction management and conceptual estimating.
Jack received his bachelor of science degree in building construction from the University of Florida. After graduation, Jack served as an estimator/project manager for a construction company in Miami. In 1997, he formed TurnKey Construction Inc., where, as president, he was responsible for the day-to-day operations including administration, project staffing and all phases of project management.
Jim Grubb General Superintendent
Jim has twenty-nine years of construction experience, including twenty-two years with S.A.C. Construction in Miami. He began as a carpenter and through experience and training was promoted to Superintendent, then to General Field Superintendent overseeing all projects. In 1996, Jim and his family relocated to Fort Myers, where he joined F&D Construction as a Project Manager. His experience includes major commercial and public entity projects, including numerous fire stations, schools, industrial plants and office buildings. Jim transitioned into his current position of General Superintendent approximately two years ago, and is responsible for project oversight and coordination of activities between the Project Managers, Superintendents and the office.
Dennis Hirsch
Project Manager
Dennis Victor Hirsch began his construction career in 1972 in Cleveland, Ohio. He has since served as senior project manager for several residential projects including many upscale communities in Naples. Dennis attended Bowling Green State University in Ohio and Max Hayes School of Construction. Dennis is responsible for the development and construction of several Brooks & Freund projects, including Concordia condominiums in Cape Coral and the Mandel Retail Center in Fort Myers.
Eric Brooks Project Manager
Eric Brooks started his career as an intern for Brooks & Freund back in 1999 where he worked closely with an estimator in the preconstruction process including permitting and bid analysis. After he received his bachelor’s degree in building construction from the University of Florida in 2004, he began working full time for the company. Eric began his career as an estimator, organizing bids and proposals, and quickly moved up to project manager. He has served as project manager for Colonial Executive Center, Magdalena Gardens, Summerlin Center and other projects.
Craig Streetzel Project Manager
Craig Streetzel is a native Floridian with more than 30 years of construction experience. He has been employed by Brooks & Freund for more than four years as both a superintendent and project manager. As project manager, Craig has completed the multi-family project Bella Lago at Vivante in Punta Gorda, as well as various other commercial projects.
Michelle Wise
Comptroller
Michelle has more than 13 years of accounting experience, including more than seven years in the construction industry. As comptroller for Brooks & Freund, she is responsible for the company’s financial management, project costs and its human resources. She received her master’s degree in accounting from the University of South Florida and earned an EMBA from Florida Gulf Coast University. Michelle is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Peggy Martin
Permit Specialist/Estimator
Peggy Martin has been with Brooks & Freund/Brooks, Inc. for over 13 years. She brings many years of construction industry experience and is familiar with the permitting requirements of Southwest Florida's governmental agencies. Peggy's responsibilities include estimating and permitting commercial and multi-family projects.
Jennifer Grubb
Contract Administrator
Jennifer Grubb is a New York native with over 10 years experience in clerical accounting and five years experience in the construction industry. She received a degree in business administration from Medaille College of New York. Jennifer's responsibilities include processing all owner and subcontractor contracts and change orders.
