Brooks & Freund Begins Construction on Paseo Phase I

FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 3, 2007) – Brooks & Freund has begun construction of phase I at Paseo, a 444-acre gated community located at the northwest corner of Palomino Lane and Penzance Boulevard in South Fort Myers. Phase I includes 35 single-family casita homes and townhome buildings. Upon completion of the project, Brooks & Freund will build 123 buildings total in the Paseo community.

The two-story casitas range in size from 1,487 square feet to more than 2,000 square feet and feature two to four bedrooms, 2 1/2 or three baths, and two-car garages.

The two- and three-story townhomes feature attached one- and two-car garages and range in size from 1,432 square feet to more than 2,000 square feet under air.

Jack Fichter of Brooks & Freund is serving as project manager, and Willy Copeland is serving as job superintendent. Architecture Network is providing architectural design services. Construction is expected to be complete in January 2009.
